Today is my Air Force anniversary!

Today marks 19 years of faithful service. Only one more to go until I'm eligible to retire. This means that I am officially on ROAD status (Retired On Active Duty), and translates into me sittin' on my ass for the next year ridin' it out. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Nah, can't do that. Goes against what I believe not to mention that you guys pay my salary and will hold me accountable. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I finished up my 20 in 1995 (I'm old) in the Navy. (no wisecracks).

Congrats on riding it out! You'll see in the next, at least 10 years (thru experience), that it was well worth it. Pension & benefits help out during unexpected hard times.

Are you a pilot?
Being a pilot is my lifelong dream. I'm 18 now and I've known for quite a while that I'll never be able to. With the rising price of oil and my very bad vision, there's no way in hell I will be able to [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] But I love plane and aviation history, things like this.
