Yeah he's slow to answer your e-mails because he gets tons of them, but he was always OK with me on the phone..... ??

Call Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center in Wheaton, MD. Ask for Paul Schein or Bill Brooks. They will treat you awesome!

Wow...flash from the past. My dad was a CPO with the Navy band and knew Chuck. I used to love going into his store when I was a kid.

Unfortunately I have had enough of Kevin. I have kept my mouth shut because my dealing with him have been favorable. That changed today. More to come...

Kevin Easton botched up a lot of people's orders. The Big Red King V, the DKLE, and some one offs. He won't talk to anyone anymore. Too bad, he was responsible for some of Jackson's early 1990's catalogs and PR...

                      Re: question about easton guitars

He truly is a nice guy and is very knowledgable. I have spent a few afternoons at his shop just talking with him about guitars. Something happened to him last year that affected him and his business. Every transaction I have had with him has great except for this comedy of errors on my custom shop guitar. He does nice work on guitars as well. I had him install a floyd into a guitar that had a Wilkinson trem in it. He did a great job. He has another project at his place now.

I assume something happened to his business during the storms I know he got hit pretty hard last year... That being said I had a problem with him before it happened and not major major just some piss porr customer service. Whatever problem he did encounter all could understand but he doesn't communicate with any of his customers
