Since nobody mentioned it, I'll do it - you may try Paradise Lost. Their 10th studio effort is self-titled. I would also suggest you try Cathedral. Both are British and going their own way. If you try them, let me know what you think.

Not only do I've mindcrime, I've got all their other CD's and I've got fucking tickets to seem them in Hershey PA JUNE 15th. I'm like 2 rows from that stage!

Gonna have to check some of these out to expand my horizons a bit. Anyone know of some other good thrash bands as well? Lately I've been listening to mostly that sort of stuff with some melodic death metal.
