Heard on the ride home today that Monday Night Football will move from ABC to ESPN after next season, and NBC will be showing the Sunday night game.

The ESPN deal is for $1.1 billion per year. Our cable provider, Cox, has already been at odds w/ ESPN over rising fees & threatened to make them a premium channel or drop them last time the contract came up. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but rest assured we'll be footing the bill one way or the other.
