    Seriously , the reason why Clergy is forbbiden to marry is because of the assets he will accumulate during his duty..

    The church wants all assets , and not left to ANY other benificiaries..such as a spouse..

    THIS IS THE REASON!

          true dat bill, the whole married to god thing is fabricated. it was common for clergy to be married in the past.

            Hey after 30 years of being a devoted Italian Roman Catholic...and my kid is a Catholic..

            you can learn a thing or two...IF...you ask questions and keep your eyes OPEN!

            once they are OPEN and see REALITY in raw form...you could NEVER close them again..

              The Pope is the Figurehead for all the Catholic Sheeple..

                Some of the Apostles were married... so by what power does ye olde Catholic Church demand the married to God... The Catholic Church couldn't be concerned about money as Bill suggested could they...
