The Yankees have won 1 game out of 5 against the O's and the Sox have lost 1 of 3. I think you missed a few games your Yankees played this season. I watched them. They were a joy to behold. lol The stars at night are big and bright....deep in the heart of the Bronx New York!!!! Wait a minute that isn't how the song goes. Well it did for 2 of 3 games in the Bronx this past weekend anyhow. How will Pavano fare against the marshmallow man tonight. I'm not a betting man where baseball is concerned. But if I were, I'd say Mr. Staypuffed has the odds.

turn in their favor. statistically speaking here. we have gotten off to many a slow start, last year, the year before, in fact, the '98 team started out 1-4. i have not a worry in the world except for how much ground bernie can cover in center field. put it up against damon's arm and it almost evens itself out. it's too early for this balderdash we're spwewing, it can't start until at least one more game until we can officially come to a decision on whose gonna win. I like the yankees for their 8th in a row. oh shit, we're slowly becoming the atlanta gayves, win the division, no ring for the effort after. that would suck to be a braves fan. the pain, the pain.

I must correct myself. The Yankees have won 1 game of 6. Not 5. Personally I think the O's are going to stay in contention for the east. There starting pitching is as shaky as the Yankees and the Sox. But they have BJ Ryan closing. And some decent middle relief. Yanks had a good night last night. Pavano pitched good and it helps when people are hitting behind you. Obviously Alex had a good night too. 3 homers,a single and 10 RBI's. He had a 2 run homer, a 3 run homer and a grand slam. What would've happened if he would've hit a single homer. What is that called? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] THe homerun cycle?
Hopefully he got his confidence back.
