Re: High school nightmares

Do we have any organic chemists in the crowd? I hate when I'm studying for an organic chemistry theoretical final, and I go to sleep that night, and I have dreams of structures coming together in all sorts of weird ways to form a variety of impossible compounds. When I wake up, I have NO idea if what I studied the night before made any sense because the dreams are interfering. Really freaks me out when it comes to actually write the theoretical final because I am not sure whether I am drawing from my memory/studies or from my hyper-realistic dreams. That's probably why I failed Organic Chemistry II in my sophomore year...

NOTP what is funny is I have a ton of dreams about work and the folllowing day I won't remember if I actually called a customer or just dreamt it I am so glad I am not the only one tricked by his dreams

I don't think that was out yet. That was back in 74 or 75.

Actually, my bedroom had a wallpaper border that was all the letters of the alphabet. I'm sure I must have stared at it before going to sleep.

LOL When I was a kid, my bedroom had one wall painted red, the rest were white! I have no clue what my parents were thinking. We moved out when I was five ('77) and my grandparents wound up buying that house not long after. The room stayed like that, just a spare room to store junk, until my grandfather died in '92. Don't know what became of the house after that since my whacky aunt now owns it and we haven't spoken to her since. Anyway, I'm surprised I haven't had any nightmares or really messed up dreams in my life. Somehow that one red wall had to have affected me!
