my little guitar student...she RULES!

a few months ago, i started giving lessons to my friend's 8 year old daughter, kaitlyn. they got her a daisy rock guitar for xmas, and she's TOTALLY got the rock guitar bug. it's hilarious. she comes to her lesson and wants a wall full of guitars, and also loves king Vs! she's a total old soul, and is way into the whole big rock thing. she's a great kid, and is progressing along. after her lesson was over, i snapped a couple of action shots. enjoy:

Very Sweet. I think my oldest daughter (6) will be a prime candidate as well. She's into hard rock, and I've got a small guitar kicking around that's a good size for her.

Very, very cute! I'm actually steering my daughters (ages 5 & 6) toward piano/violin because I know all too well what the rock and roll lifestyle is like. I may be too late though because their fav DVD is the Iron Maiden video collection.
