Got my Episode III tickets!

There are exactly three weeks left now until the release of Revenge of the Sith. And I have in my grubby little hands, two tickets for the midnight showing on opening day (morning).

This is going to be the best Star Wars ever!* Yippee!

* I've stupidly let myself get excited about this movie, even though I recognize the possibility that it will suck. HARD. But I'm pretty sure it won't. It can't. Right? RIGHT?!

I read the novel over the weekend... if the movie is 1/4 as good as the book, it'll be great. Still won't be as good as empire though [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

That one picture convinced me that Ep. III will completely own.


That and I read the novel. Which was AWESOME.

I must admit - the novel was pretty good. There were some cheesy parts, but the plot mostly worked for me. If the actors can reasonably pull off some of the characters' background info./motivations you get in the novel (...but not always the movies), this one could be worth it.

Either way, I've already got advance tickets. Hoping it's a good one.

This is the first time that I have not yet read the Novel although not spoiler free but for the other 2 I read the novel before seeing it.... I am holding out faith that this will be good and entertaining but I don't think it will be teh best (well except visually)

Honestly, for the last two, I didn't bother getting advanced tickets. I was just happy to go on opening day. I had always been able to just walk up and grab tix.
