Game help - Ninja Gaiden

Ok, I'm almost done with this game (borrowed it from a guy at work), and I am stuck like fuck [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I'm on The Fiendish Awakening (Chapter 12?) and I've been from fron to back for the last 8+ hours and cannot find out how to get into the Imperial Palace of Zarkhan. I go up the long stairway at the front but get "the door cannot be opened from this side". I've got the hint about a cavern behind the falls leading to a backdoor, and I've been through the Ice and Fire caverns repeatedly, beaten everything in site (Fire Dragon, Ice Sloth, found the Eyes of Fire and Ice, etc etc).
The old shop dude keeps telling me about a portal to the Fiend World and how I can get something to save my life if I go through there unhurt, and I've done that and got a Lives of a Thousand Gods thing out of the chest, but he also told me to find the Dragon's Eye to turn my sword into the True Dragon Blade. I can't find it either.

Anyone know? I've looked online for strategy guides and walkthroughs but everyone wants you to sign up for their spam, and with no proof they have what I want...

Now your sword must be like glowing right?

Whats your favorite weapon? Seriously this game rock soo much its unbelievable. I like the Kitetsu sooo much... The dragon swords gets old since we almost use it everytime but dont forget to completly upgrade your wooden stick... it makes the strongest weapon in the game...

Anyway, im playing my last run to have everything unlocked, too bad i dont have xbox live... as there are lots of downloads...

man i loved that game, we bought an x box just to polay it and returned it when we were done. more of a PS@ man really.

Ninja Gaiden? Me and my cousin used to play that on his Game Boy when we were like, 8.

You should try the Xbox version, Boxcar. It's way better than those crapass 2D 4bit GB games.

Ham - I did upgrade the wooden sword to the Unlabored Flawlessness - and it's truly a badass beatstick [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
Favorite weapon has to be the Vogoorian Flail. Continuous attacks without all that "leave yourself wide open" crap [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
Although I did swap to the Dragon Sword when fighting Bosses for the last hit (just because [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img])
Mostly I'd dog them with Inazuma attacks or Ice Storms when they got close, then jump slash them with the sword and fire off another Inazuma.

I had no idea they made a new one! I've been hoping for an updated version of Paperboy, maybe they'll make that too.

Probably will. Maybe they'll include a Collection mission where you hit a button and the kid yells "2 Dollars!" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
