Pink Floyd: Delicate Sound of Thunder
Eric Johnson: Alien Love Child
Joe Satriani: Dreaming #11, the live parts.
Jimi Hendrix: Live at Winterland
SRV: Live at El Mocambo (DVD)
B.B. King: Live at San Quentin

Plus the stuff recorded live in front of a small studio crowd on Jimi Hendrix's "Electric Ladyland", like Voodoo Chile, etc.
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

Judas Priest - Unleashed In The East

AC/DC - If You Want Blood

I wore out that AC/DC album. Like horn666, I owned it in vinyl, 8 track (Columbia House, RCA Music Club, AND original Atlantic versions), cassette and CD (original release and remaster). I was never able to get a reel-to-reel version. This is THE album that set me on the metal path. I was so obssessed with this album (in 1981) that not only did I transcribe the guitar bass and drum parts for every song into a music score, I even made my own music score paper from scratch on college ruled notebook paper (using a ruler, a fine point black pen, a steady hand and lots of patience) because I was too poor to buy any. Considering I was too poor to buy music score paper, it was only obvious I didn't own a guitar either! How the heck did I figure the notes out? With my high school B-flat cornet, tuned down a half step.

Oh, and I did the transcribing with the LP. Cornet in right hand, left hand operating the turntable tonearm.

Maybe I'll recount the story of how I made a scale train controller do double duty as a distortion box.
Just a guitar player...

All the good ones have been mentioned To be new and different, I'll say:

XYZ - Take What You Can Live

I've never heard it, but I'm on a big XYZ kick right now, so I might have to get it.
