my band is in the process of splitting up. during the last weeks leading up to my decision to take my songs and split (screw you guys, i'm goin' home) i've been good about not trash talking or anything behind anyones back. if i have something to say, i'll say it to your face if i'm gonna say it to anyone else while your not present. well, just so happens that my former drummer, who also thinks he is a...guitarist, bassist, vocalist, promoter, producer, engineer, mixer and god in general has been slipping up. my former band from a couple years back is in the process of recording a demo at my former drummers... (studio if you will).
and you know how it goes, someone always repeats something they heard that wasn't supposed to be repeated! thankfully for me, because the info i recieved also tipped me off to some bogus e-mail i had recieved last week regarding my search for a vocalist on my bandmix.com ad. (which will have to be updated to guitarist seeks band) so this evening i'll be going to said studio to retrieve all my gear (i'll be going on my lunch break cuz i'm presently working second shift)and set up the events that are sure to follow in the coming days. by making remarks that would let him know that i know he sent the bogus e-mail, but not saying anything to incriminate my information leak, and let him stew in the fear of what i will be doing to him at the proper time and location. beating the fucking shit out of him. any similiar experiences? or any other ugly disbanding stories?
