You won't find those listings on a site, you have to go to the local Employment Office or directly to the factory (or a Temp Agency).

Guitar stores pay about like McD's and the other places, unless you get Commission, in which case you make less.
Retail pay is retail pay, whether you enjoy the work or not.

$17.40 per day = $121.80 per week = $487.20 per month = $1948.80 for my four month summer = $2410.28 Canadian dollars. That actually MIGHT be just enough, considering I only need to be a part-time student in my senior year next year to fulfill my minimum credits requirement! I've been mixin' harsh chemicals, reagents, antibiotics, and powders for four years in my culture media lab technician job. This is very disheartening. From the time I woke up (11am) until now (8:30pm), I've been sitting at my computer frantically looking for jobs in my area on all the job websites that I've Googled or found on my university website. 99% of them don't even fit into my typical summer job field (laboratory/science related work) and there aren't even any that seem to interest or challenge me. I mean, I can pack some frickin' groceries or whatever but that's just low! [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] I need something socially-stimulating or any lab job that challenges me! [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

I'm feeling this odd sense of failure right now which is totally unjustified. I mean, I've only been searching for a DAY so far. But it's just that every summer for the past four years, I've had a guaranteed and enjoyable summer job, and this year I don't, which TOTALLY caught me off guard since they only told me a week ago that they couldn't have me back this summer. Try a hotel desk clerk, uses your computer skills, gives your people skills, and at 6 bucks an hours (chump change I know)...gives you 48 bucks a day...it's hard to explain, but it's a FUN job...but hey, if you can get that stripper job that is the way to go [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
