November 15 is a likely date for its release in the us, and it wont be long before some totally killer games are out for it. It is such a powerful machine! Thats like welding 3 warm LS1's together....

It better be backwards compatable. They'll make a killing if it is. For me that was one of the main selling points of the PS2.

They've already said it won't be, because they have to include all the previous model's brains PLUS the new stuff, and it inhibits the new stuff's capabilities.
At least that's what THEY say, but the PS2 stuff still looked great and I know they couldn't have done most of that on the PS1.

The Halo2 movie models looked that good, but when the actual gameplay models look that good, I'll be seriously impressed [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Of course, if they DO look that good you won't have a chance to admire them - they'll be busy killing you while you're gawkin at 'em [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

It'd be nice if every game had a "stop and smell the roses" feature where you can pause it and move the camera around to admire the details that the programmers worked so hard on, instead of "wow, that one looked cool - too bad I had to blow it to bits so fast" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Hey hey. This is gonna be cool. I put money down on the X360 last week. Also Gates says they will release Halo 3 on the same day Sony releases the PS3...What a bastard...HAHAHAHA. I love it.
