So I bought a pickup on the bay a while back and it was shipped pretty quickly. I got the tracking number and have been checking the progress regularly. On the 11th the package left for delivery. Each day since then it has been rescheduled for delivery. This is the 7th day in a row. Not once have I seen a post it note on the door about them leaving it at the rental office like they normally do,or telling me I can come pick it up at the warehouse, nothing. What's the big fucking deal about delivering a package to my door? I get shit all the time. Why is this one thing so hard for them to deliver? I was really hoping to drop the pickup in and set the guitar up a week ago. I'm still waiting. Fuck you, UPS!!! Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
They've done the same to me recently. I recommend you call customer service and bitch them out. It worked for me. If it's a residential address they are shipping it to they will put you on the back burner till they feel like delivering it.We must!
We must!
We must increase the bust!
The bigger the better!
The tighter the sweater!
The boys are counting on us!

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
Call their 800 number. If it's at your local wharehouse and you give them the tracking number, they should be able to have the package held for customer pickup.
I have just the opposite problem. The @ssclowns always come when no-one is home, and leave the package by the front door anyway. I live in a nice neighborhood, so usually this is no big deal. I could care less with small packages. But I'd prefer to not take chances with large and valuable packages, like custom order guitars or the EVH I just got. So far, no problems. But it's only a matter of time before I get unlucky and one goes bad.

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
Every guitar I've had shipped in, or parts like this pickup, has been delievered to the rental office if no one has been home. When I lived in Illinois, they would try to deliver 3 times, and if no one was home I had to go to the warehouse and pick it up. Why the hell would they keep rescheduling delievery every day for a week?! It's ridiculous. Are they seriously wasting gas to come to my complex every day? I really doubt it. If it's not there when I get home in about an hour or so, I'm calling to complain. In the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal. It is just so damn irritating.

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
I had that happen to me with something I ordered not too long ago... it said rescheduled, and no first attempt had even been made. WTF?!?
Also, I sold Superfly my Fender head a couple weeks ago, it was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday, the website even comfirmed that, but then it never arrived, and then the website said rescheduled for Wednesday. I have no idea what that was about, but it did get delivered on Wednesday. I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
O.K. So I'm getting ready to call UPS and see what's up and I get a phone call from the rental office saying that they have a package for me. I go over there and apparently it had been there for a while. I'm guessing it got delivered on the 11th as it was supposed to. The UPS guy didn't put a note on the door that he had dropped it off at the office. And for some reason, the douchebag who updates the computers didn't list that it had been delivered. There have been plenty of other times that I knew a package had been delievered before I ever got home just by checking the tracking number online. I just don't get why it would keep saying "rescheduled delivery." What a bunch of assholes. Oh well, all is well and I've got my pickup. Of course I have a guitar coming in tomorrow. Hopefully I won't be going through the same thing.

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
Make sure your apartment number is on the package (check with the seller), that could be screwing them up .I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Re: UPS is starting to piss me off
We have a townhouse which has 5 digit number on the street. There is no "apt. 2" or anything like that. The ladies at the offie said there has been a new UPS guy lately and he hasn't been doing so great. Oh well, I have my pickup. If I get my guitar tomorrow, then I'll be happy enough.

I'll bet that they kept rescheduling in their system cuz they had no frikkin idea where it was. Hadn't been delivered (supposedly)... not with the driver.... poof into thin air. So they update their system daily with a new rescheduled delivery date just to buy them time til they actually decide to look for it which would probably only happen when/if the customer asks about their package. My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!
