Man I'm just sitting here totally stressed out over the past week and I play Babylon by faster pussycat and it feels like it all goes away when I here a song like that, I can't explaine ot but a great song puts all my troubles away

hearing my kids laugh always works for me. I can be having the worst day and be totally stressed out but when I hear them laugh it just grabs me by the nads and says nothing else is important [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Playing in my two bands
Metal and rock music (plus all those other bands / groups that I like that don't fall into those two catagories)
Guitars and amps
Ice cold purified water on a hot day
Video games (I know, stupid, but brainless fun is necessary every once in a while)

And lastly, performing a killer show. We played Friday night and it was the most fun I've ever had at a show. We were just banging our heads and people were getting into the music. The feeling that I get when we're playing out and doing well is just on a completly different level than anything else that I've ever felt before. It makes gigging highly addictive. On top of it all you talk to people and they are honest about the performance and say very flattering things that make you feel really good about your band's performance. The only thing that sucks is that you usually have to go back to work the next day and deal with the nine-to-five grind where you work your ass off to make someone rich.
