Plastic like the trem and cavity covers used on Jackson imports. That's what Jackson used to use as stencils back in the early days.
You might be able to find a 2-foot wide roll of paper at WalMart on the aisle with the poster board and art tablets and crayons and such that you can trace the body onto and then freehand some stencils.
You could also use a roll of shipping paper. It's thicker and would probably be easier to use.
Or you could freehand some stripes onto that do-it-yourself inkjet sticker paper (WalMart, again).I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I used some plastic I found at Michaels Arts and Crafts. It was a few millimeters thick and was easily cut with an x-acto knife. I had two pieces for my stripes. A left and right side. If I still have them I'll see about taking a picture of them. I think I threw them out though.
After I had my stripes I layed the stripes on top of the painters tape and cut around it. I then put the tape on the body. It was flexible enough to go over the corners.http://www.jacknapalm.com/
