Of course it works. (You aren't the first to ask that. What kind of dirtbags are you people used to dealing with on ebay?) "[A]s new" means, among other things, that it works. However, I cannot warrant that the buyer will know what to do with it, only that it won't be DOA. Thanks.

It is closed now, but it was a pickup. The description included that it was in "as new" condition.

I did sell a Gibson pickup a few months ago where the buyer later tried to get me to refund his money because it "didn't work." I asked him a number of questions, since, as I explained, it worked when it left my custody. His response was, "uh, it works now."

How about the frickin camera angles that some people use? Then they say " I tried to show the spot in the picture,but could'nt get it to show". Hell no, not takin a picture that looks like you were hangin off the chandelier and using a disposable camera!!...............
