• Classic Yngwie

I've seen NOTP and a couple others use this website (yousendit.com), so I figured I'd try it out.

Here's a video of Yngwie at his best, a lean, mean, shreddin' machine.

Thanks for posting that. Awesome. Yngwie is great. It is so inspiring to see guys of that caliber play. The fact that people rip on him blows my mind.

How about the "Blackmore" faces he was making?

Thanks for that! I met Yngwie about a week and a half ago Rapidshare is another site like yousendit but a bit better because there's only a certain amount of downloads with yousendit and people can block the file (those people should be lynched by the balls).

Just give me Yngwie, Uli and Tony Macalpine and I don't need to hear any other guitarist ever.

That's a big call. As great as all those guys are, I couldn't do without G. Moore, Sykes, Campbell, Loomis, Lynch, Beach, Meniketti, Walsh, Vaughan, Healey, Ford, Moss, Aldrich, Smith & Murray.

Great video and showmanship! (I've never seen a live performance of ol' Ing-Vay so it was cool to see him play finally.)

he only uses one stack not the whole wall of marshalls.

anyway it is a kickas video.

                      Re: Classic Yngwie

I met Yngwie in Sears at the Aventura Mall in Aventura, Fl back in 1992.

I was working there and I see and hear this giant dude walking around, dressed like a rockstar with a rockstar style girlfriend, cussing with an accent about how he can't find the "fucking mall". So, I walk up to him and say, "Yngwie, the exit to the mall is to your left." For a second, I think he was a little stunned...but he was cool. I also said, "I am a big fan", or some bullshit like that. He just laughed and said thanks.

Yngwie's playing is so effortless it almost looks like he's playing air guitar. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. He totally dominated on the G3 tour.

I heard he dominated the buffet spread backstage as well
