    How can I slow down a Windows Media (.WMV) file?

    I want to see the exact fingering in that movie I posted of the guy doing Flight of the Bumblebee (in the Technique section). Windows Media Player 10 has a "slowdown" feature, but I'm not upgrading to XP just to run the damned thing.

    Anybody know a way to this this? Another media player? A plugin?

    CHRONOTRON is your alternative. I THINK it is compatible with pre-XP Windows. There's a website that has the plugins, wmplugins.com. Chronotron should be there in its trial version.

    Also, Windows Media Player 9 has it, but I'm not sure if your operating system can run that.

      THANKS! It works. I've used Chronotron for years, but only with Winamp. I had no idea it would slow down video, too.

        Just for future reference, In Windows Media Player go to the View menu and then mouse-over enhancements and click on Play Speed settings.
        Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.
