        Plenty of proof in the OJ trial. Dumb racially motivated Jury and a BAD prosecution team.

        There was NO evidence to convict Blake. No REAL evidence. Maybe he did it, but from what I read, no one had any PROOF.

        Jason Williams....evidence everywhere. A horrific murder and a VERY bad person. Jeeez, dont get me started. THis is similar to the OJ case. This POS needs to rot in hell for all eternity.

          You must remember this was a "criminal" trial.
          Which means, the presenting of evidence and coming to a verdict based on the evidence in a criminal trial, is different than in a civil case. Civil case, its the perponderous of the evdience. Also, civil case he'll see no time behind bars. Thats what the criminal case does.

          The crediblity of the families and teenagers involved in the lawsuit against Jackson were clearly proven by his attorneys as questionable. Thus, any and all statements and evidence provide by these families were in they eyes of the jurors, marked questionable/doubted as valid.
          They honestly had very little evidence to prove Jackson guility, in the criminal trial.

          This will be a completely different scenario if they sue him in a civil trial. The evidence presented by the famalies and teenagers will be very damaging in a civil case, because that kind of evidence is very useful and needed in a civil case.

          Personally, I think he's guilty, I think he has fondled with young boys genetials, but thats beside the point.
          The jurors found him innocent.

            Got any evidence for either case that they were guilty? I'm sure the D.A. would like to have it.

            That chick that Blake was accused of killing was a gold-digger who had a lot of enemies. Blake didn't do it, but I'm sure he knew it was coming eventually. Her own daughter probably had her killed so she'd get Blake's money, knowing he'd catch the rap for it, then die in prison, then she gets all the money.

              Agreed!!!

              Makes just as much sense as anyone saying Blake himself did it, or had it done.

              WHO KNOWS what happened in that one!?!?!

              She was a very BAD person and the list of people wanting to knock her off was certainly longer than just ONE name.

                I didn't follow this one closely at all but it sure seems like a case of a DA trying to make a name for himself by stringing up a celebrity. The case was pretty flimsy from the get-go and most knowledgeable folks said it had completely fallen apart before the defense even put on their side. The person who most needs to take a fall here is the DA who’s had a hard-on for Jackson for a decade or so now and has been champing at the bit to try to put him away.

                    who gives a flyin' flank steak anyway, it has no effect on any of our lives. he's an absolute fruitkook, with a detatchable nose who looks like a middle aged asian lady when he's supposed to be black. i loved the jackson 5 tunes growing up, i still like them, but i am done having this trial shoved in my face on every channel, including espn.
                    i'm just happy it's over, period.

                      Amen Tommy. The evidence was pretty flimsy and the accusor lacked credibility. Is he a freak? Absofuckinglutely. Is he guilty? Who knows, but NOT by the case that was presented.

                          This has come up on a couple of occasions on some guitar discussion boards and it's pretty amazing to me to hear the number of folks that will overlook the fact that Pete Townshend freely admits that he fiscally contributed to child pornography businesses but are very quick to condemn Michael Jackson without his admittance or a conviction - they just "know" Michael did it.
