She passed away last night about 2 am...
So I wont get to see her. She will be cremated and the service will be Tuesday.
My flight out was for Tuesday evening but I was able to change it to Monday
so I wouldn't miss the service.

I got back from Michigan Monday evening and it was quite a trip!
Meeting all these people I don't know and being the fixation of their curiosity.
Over all, it was alot of mental and emotional healing for me on many personal levels.
I wont get into it all, but I will say that so many positives came from my trip and I'm a more enlightened being now.

The highlight of my trip was I got to meet my daughters step dad and find out she never knew I existed.
She was stolen from me 13 years ago and I haven't been able to locate them until this trip with the help of some friends.
After talking with him on the phone, he agreed to tell my daughter, Crystal now 15, that I exist and he was not her real dad.
We arranged to have an in person meeting where I got to meet him!!!
He was sorry for the lies and hiding and earnestly wants us to get to know each other.
So we are beginning to have a dialog.
She is a bit confused and upset ATM so she needs time so its in its infancy stages.
But I actually got few pics of her and its so amazing to see someone that looks like me. Im now awaiting "first conatct" [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Anyway, too much info and too long and emotional to write more about.....

Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone!

I'm glad you are able to be reunited with your daughter and that she will know the truth. I hope all is well with that Scott, 15 is a pretty transistional age, but I'm glad good came out of the trip. Best Wishes.
