Well the neck arrived from Ron today. I got it at work and I must say...the man believes in tape. When I got home tonight, Shaun(SoloistShaun)wanted to open it up and check it out. I told him "Go ahead, just be careful"...meaning not to f'up the neck while opening the package. I went about my way and in a few minutes I heard strange cries for help. I had heard that Ron packs a mean package...but wasn't prepared for what I found.....

Get a package from Chuck Splatter [img]/images/graemlins/eyes.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

God forbid you get a guitar from him, here's basically what you get.

The guitar case is sandwhiched inside the box surrounded by pieces of cardboard from another guitar box for starters. You finally get out the cutting torch and get through approximately 3 rolls of industrial strength tape wrapped completely around the box. Chuck was a Egyptian Mummy-Maker in a previous life, I'm convinced [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

OK, now, after several hours lol you finally get the case out of the box(es).

Opening the case, there is enough "shop-towels" to completely cover the floor of the average livingroom [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]. The guitar is basically mummified inside the case.

After all that, you're ready for a nap [img]/images/graemlins/sleep.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/sleep.gif[/img] </font>

Well I think that Ron and Chuckles outta open a packaging store together or something.
Chuck sent me a few little parts and pieces you could easily have just thrown into a padded envelope. But this thing was sealed tighter than Fort Knoxx!!!
Took me half the evening to get that box open.
