I thought he was talking about Scott and the guy from Eight Is Enough.

LOL That would be Scott Baio. The guitar player in question is Michael Angelo a/k/a Michael Angelo Batio.

For me, I'd have to say Exodus rules! Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt are both fantastic players who really feed off each other and don't always feel the need to play the same rhythm at the same time.

Seems like Hunolt left the band...

Really? Damn! I didn't know Hunolt left. I know they're working with a new singer and recording a new album, and Paul Bostaph is handling drum duties since Tom Hunting got sick.

Dude, I was just thinking of posting this topic yesterday! I guess I shouldn't have waited.

1) Becker/Friedman
2) Vai/Satriani (Alice Cooper - "Feed my Frankenstein")

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Gilbert and Bouillet yet..

Some of my other favorites...

Gene Allen and Joe Holmes from Lizzy Borden
Scott Ian and Danny Spitz from Anthrax

Re: Your favorite guitar duo?

Too close to call so:
Murray / Smith
Friedman / Mustaine
Hetfield / Hammett (until 89)
Ian / Spitz (until 89 - snap!)
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
