Alrighty, I've been working @ Super K unfortunatly since Nov. of 2002.
I get paid a shitty pay of 7.53 a hour and I run pretty much the whole floor.
Toys, Sports, Layaway, Auto, Do it your self, Furniture.
They really cut hours so I'm usually alone, or stuck with this old guy who only works Sporting Goods.
Managers don't know layaway or selling fishing liscenses or mixing paint. The burden is always on me.
I find out that there are people who do less (cashiers) and get paid 3 fucking cents more than me because the minimum wage laws have been raised from 6.50 to 7.00 dollars, i'm still fucking wondering where the extra 55 cents is coming in.
I'm going to go talk to the boss, but I don't know how to approach it, like by saying I hear these newer people are paid more and don't cover everything while I get everything.
I sent in a application to move to grocery (wooping 25 cents+) so hopefully they will consider giving me a raise. I don't really want to move to grocery, but this seems like a good plan. I would probably deny them for a 25 cent raise to stay, maybe a 45 cent or 50. I will see.
Maybe I'll just quit, They can't do shit w/o me there, and the other useful guy @ night is on vacation.
I found out that minimum wage is 6.50 and these newbiews are getting 7.55, where is the extra 1.05 comming from?
I'm so irrated with this I may just stop going, or wait for a day with no one but me working the floor just so they go so fucked over it won't even be funny.
