      Re: First riffs and songs

I don't remember which riffs I learned when, but for whole songs it's:

      Fade To Black
      Mr. Crowley
      Holy Diver

and that's all of the complete songs I know. I just started working on Satriani's Always With Me, Always With You the other day, should have that one down over the weekend if I stick with it.

Some of the first songs I learned back in the day, or parts of them anyway...
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
          Mercyful Fate - Evil
          Exodus - Deranged
          Anthrax - Indians
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

            Re: First riffs and songs

Master Of Puppets is the first song I learned. Enter Sandman and War Ensemble came next, I believe. And I also learned Hallowed Be Thy Name early on.

              Re: First riffs and songs

              Call of Ktulu
She Hates me-Puddle of Mudd (easy now!)
              Smells like teen twat
              Nothing Else Matters
              Some other Metallica songs.

First songs were probably all Metallica songs. My first solo was the Enter Sandman solo. Bitchin' solo, really good crowd pleaser.
