I keep hoping the Yankee starters can last eight inning to get Mariano in there and bypass middle relief. I've been trying to watch Gordon pitch thru my fingers which are in front of my face, and it still isn't working. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

With Foulke, it may be just a confidence problem, like Mariano had, but one thing I noticed with Foulke's delivery is, that he has that hesitation move with his hand up in the air, so it's easy for batters to see the grip on the ball. Unlike that closer, BJ for the O's, who hides the ball on delivery.

Exactly Don...good call. They were talking about his delivery the last time he was interviewed on WEEI. Combined with his lowering of the ball in his setup. Last year it was up around his head and this year it has been down by the letters. That is supposedly the reason he went to Florida earlier in the year and had apparently fixed it of late but alas....Grand Salami....
Oh well, i'll be at the game today roasting my nuggets in the 85 degree 70+ humidity. Hopefully we can grab at least one. Last night was a good game as far as offense goes. We were behind and came back hard and then once again our pen chokes. Seems like both teams need some serious help in that regard.

Don't forget about all the tin plaques in center field. Man George really splurged on those. Wells was interviewing out there and hit the Babes plaque. Babe sounded like a empty can of Chef-Boy-Ardee rolling down the street.
