I'm stunned. Haven't seen any Peart videos to compare it to (does he blink?) but the guy did subtle facial expressions that really make it look good.
One small quibble about the fingers (no one ever does the fingers just right), and some shots of the footwork woulda been nice, but still amazing for someone who is not a Pixar/big studio employee.

I had a plan a few years ago to do a video like that for Red Barchetta, but could never find the book it was taken from to get the details and a few other things to make it look like I wanted, so I never did more than a couple of animation tests.

Anyhoo, that's definitely a guy that needs a job at a game or movie studio.
