It hasn't happened here in the U.S. again because we've taken the war to their backyard. They have no place to rest, they have no money because we frozen their bank accounts. It's much easier to travel from country to country throughout Europe (thanks to the EU). Getting to Spain or London is as easy as hopping a bus, train, or ferry. Crossing the Atlantic, that's a bit harder to do when you have limited funds.

Do they still have millions of dollars? Yes. But the people controlling the money are giving a lot of thought to how they spend it. I bet a lot of rich Saudis are thinking twice before they spend their retirement outfitting a suicide bomber and sending him to live in the U.S. for a few years. It's easier and cheaper to send them to Europe.

Even sending them to Europe must be difficult, or I'm sure we would have seen more of this in the past few years.

I'm really sorry this happened to our brothers across the Atlantic.

My heart goes out for the people in London and hope the carnage is not as bad as described on the media right now.

This terrosism problem WE are facing cannot and will be not be resolved by taking our mighty armies to foreign shores. These cowardly terrorists are a cancer, not in the form of a tumor, but rather infiltrated throughout all of our organs and tissues. Therefore very hard to identify, extract and eliminate.

No complete destruction of a small mid-east nation will stop them. It is a mind set these people are instilled since they are babies. You do not share their beliefs and doctrines = you are an infidel and deserve to die.

The solution is from within. The people in those countries realizing we live on the same planet and a few bad apples are giving their heritage and religion a bad name.
The terrorists being cast-off their family and/or firnd support groups and exposed. The solution is those governments not giving monetary support and shelter (i.e. Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, etc.) to those groups.

The more we take our armies over there and bomb them to heck, the more we are viewed as THE enemy and more young men and women get brain washed against the west.
An all out covert war to take out key individuals and pressure from within, is the only way this thing could be somehow fixed.

Sadly, the UK is a "soft touch" these days. For all the sabre-rattling talk by the Govt, they'll let just about anyone in (and give them a shitload of benefits), while there's a whole bunch of beardy left-wing councils who'll happily accommodate all of these radical fuckwits in the interests of "Cultural Diversity"

Snoogans is telling the truth, politicians were surposed to crack down on immigrantion laws but i haven't noticed any difference what so ever, and now even more people are planning to come over here. This country needs a major kick up the arse to sort itself out.

At least you are an island, that will give you "some" degree of isolation. Here we have to worry about ANY schmo crossing borders and sneaking in.

Here in Chicago (the 2nd largest public transportation system in the country) the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) has been on an elevated alert. (pardon the pun) The 'L' is sometimes boarded by security guards with dogs and accompanied by the CPD. I have to say though, nothing seemed to change this morning.

Sadly, considering what the US has done for them in the past, and as bad as the French have been selling us out, I have little compassion for them. No one deserves terrorism, but they need a major kick in the teeth...

I feel like this hit here in the U.S., since England is our strongest partner in the war on terror. We have to stay strong, realize that now is not the time to be pussies and blame ourselves for these actions.This shit would happen whether or not we stay in iraq.Terrorist want us dead because we dont share thier god and religion.Not because of oil, sadaam Hussien ect...
