A few points:
Point 1 that always seems to come up: Christians have been historically the most violent and intolerant of all religions.
Fact: We haven't had a Catholic-sponsored bloody Crusade in centuries, and we don't all share the same mindset of "kill everyone who disagrees with our views" like the Mulsim terrorists do.

Point 2: Not all Arabs/Muslims/etc are terrorists.
Fact: True, but they also follow this Anti-American/Pro-Mulsim policy more than say the Christian groups that McVeigh claimed affiliation with. It's like cops - all cops know there's bad cops out there, but because of some misguided allegienace to "the badge", and the mindset that whoever wears the badge is a "brother", they won't kill or rat out the dirty cop. I don't mean the one that beats a crack dealer or shoves a rapist out a window or plugs his head in a field somewhere, I mean the dirty cop that lets a dealer or rapist or some shit go free for a cut. I mean the dirty cops that busted out my parent's shop window when they rejected their generous offer of paying protection money. While there are a few reports of Iraqis turning in terrorists in Iraq (the recent car bomb factory), there were no faces, names, and bodies included in that. That was probably a trap that didn't happen the way they wanted it to (i.e. load the place up with cops and soldiers and set the bombs off)

Point 3: Someone always thinks these people want to negotiate.
Fact: They don't. They send warnings that something will happen (or they used to), and then it happens. If they wanted to negotiate, they'd ask for a negotiation. They want us dead because our lifestyle is against their beliefs. Our music and movies and freedoms keeps them from being Good Muslims. Once we're all dead, the trees will have to go because they distract them from their studies. Then the birds because their incessant chirping is a distraction. Then the rocks, then the stars in the sky, then their own kin. When there's only one person left alive and no one and nothing to distract them from their religious studies, the loneliness will be too much a distraction, but there won't be anyone to kill or anything to destroy to end it. Then what?

I came to this thread to speak up and send my condolences to those who were killed/hurt in the attacks, but I am absolutly sickened and offended (I grew up a Muslim and now no longer believe in any religion) by some stuff I've been reading by some of you. First and last thing I wanna post in this thread, hope those guys over there will be ok and they catch those bastards who did it.

I can't believe people still equate Hitler doing to Chrisitanity to the current state of Islamic terrorism. If you don't see a difference here,I'll spell it out for you :

Hitler was defeated by CHRISTIAN nations!!! Read it again if you still don't get it through your skull. The difference is how many Muslim nations are REALLY going after terrorists????? Pakistan? NOT! They do nothing,and why? Because this IS a war about religion,no matter what the President or anyone says....

I also keep seeing lines like "well 11 of 12 of the 9/11 attackers were Saudis" .....guess what 12 of 12 were Muslims! What does that tell you right there? It has nothing to do with any country at all,it's the religion,plain and simple.

THe KKK statments make me laugh as well,once again it was Christians who opposed them and basically made them insignifigant in todays world,we're talking thousands compared to the numbers they had decades ago.

How many Muslims are there? And how many Muslims are doing ANYTHING to stop this? Not very many I'm willing to bet,and the few that are ,well it's just not enough.

I feel so sorry for the folks in London,as I have spent much time there,and my family is from there,I can only hope that this opens even more eyes to what needs to be done.And fast,the longer we allow this to continue the more innocents will die [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
