• Re: Possible Terrorist Attack in London

[ QUOTE ]
France didn't want to support the USA in Iraq because:

-They didn't believe there were Weapons of Mass Destruction there

-They didn't believe there were connections with Al Qaeda in Iraq

So, what's wrong with that? Time has proved they were right...

By the way, is Spain also hated for having retired our troops from Iraq? Remember we are still helping at Afganistan. I wouldn't say we have sold America off

[/ QUOTE ]

ohhh.... nooo.....

It has been proven that Irak was harboring key members of Al Qaeda, including rehab for Zirquawi after he was hurt on a strike on Afganistan.
God only knows how much money Saddam contributed through the years.
Mohammed Attah, (the ring leader of the 911 crew) visited Baghdad two times in two years prior to 911.

Read up Buddyboy.
BTW, then the French complained about not being let in into the Iraq rebuilding process. No ticket, no laundry.

I am sorry for what happened to Spain in the terrorist attacks, but there is a price you have to pay no matter which side you take on this war.
If you stay on the right side you'll be better off in the long run.

French COMPANIES don't have a say in wars.
And Saddam hated Ossama Ben Laden, he had nothing to do with 911. Whether terrorists lived in Irak or not, why does it matter? Some still live in the US.
The 'right' side? Which is? Invading a country for the wrong reasons, or wanting to stay out of it and then be willing to help anyway?

French companies do not have a say in wars, agree. But the French governmant does and they benefit from what ever those companies do.

French companies don't want in to help, they want in to make a killing $$$$$ in selling parts, materials, technology, etc.
Did not want to participate in the war?, can't get in for the dance. No ticket, no laundry.

We will take care of the terrorists on our country and we WILL take care of the terrorists abroad as WELL. Want to help? If not.... bug off.

Why did the US then ask the UN to go help if 'no tidket, no laundry'? I personally don't give a shit about France, I'm not patriotic, but your argument makes no sense. Why refuse help? Sure they want the money, but would it be the US who pays them? I doubt, it'd most likely be the Iraqi government.
We do want to help, but we want concrete proof. Not falsified documents and blurry pictures.
You take care of your own terrorists? Man, the CIA itself admitted that they knew enough about 911 before hand to make it stop. That doesn't really seem like a great job in taking care of your own terrorists.

Bottom line is, Irak does not invade lame ass Kuwait and we do not go to war in the first place (at the request of Kuwaiti royalty and UN).

Bottom line is, Terrorists do not hijack four planes on September 11, 2001 and we do not slam Afganistan and then Irak.
Leave us alone and blow yourself, in your little mid-east hole, and we have no issue with you.

• Re: Possible Terrorist Attack in London

I think the key for war on terrorism is not to invade Arab countries, but to go instead straight into the locations where Al Qaeda terrorists are trained, wherever they are (that includes Saudi Arabia).

On the other hand, Third World countries should receive some kind of economical aid for development from the US (and its allies, including Spain) similar to the Marshall plan from half a century ago. That way, they wouldn't have reasons to hate the US and the Western in those countries. That was supposed to be discussed in Edimburgh on the G8 meeting.

And don't tell me they would still hate us, because they're fundamentalists. There's an idiom in Spain, which can be translated like this: "You can't bite the hand that gives you food". Poverty leads to uneducation and ease of manipulation.

Now, you can start bashing me if you think that's convenient...

I'd like to point out that France was in the gulf war in 1991 and we are in Afghanistan. I have no issues with the US, just the stupid people who say shit like 'yeah they should blow up France because as a country they had a duty to ours and help us'. What the hell, how does that make sense? Why not bash the Andora or the Lichtenstain for not helping? Why just France eh? Some of you guys just want someone to bash, you never state any reasons that could justify anything.

[ QUOTE ]
A few points:
Point 1 that always seems to come up: Christians have been historically the most violent and intolerant of all religions.
Fact: We haven't had a Catholic-sponsored bloody Crusade in centuries, and we don't all share the same mindset of "kill everyone who disagrees with our views" like the Mulsim terrorists do.

[/ QUOTE ]
We don't? Just look at this thread. "Nuke the middle east!". It's just a cunt hair shy of "the only good muslim is a dead muslim.".

[/ QUOTE ]

But the few Christian JCF members are not the total Christian population of the world, are they?

[ QUOTE ]

Point 2: Not all Arabs/Muslims/etc are terrorists.
Fact: True, but they also follow this Anti-American/Pro-Mulsim policy more than say the Christian groups that McVeigh claimed affiliation with. It's like cops - all cops know there's bad cops out there, but because of some misguided allegienace to "the badge", and the mindset that whoever wears the badge is a "brother", they won't kill or rat out the dirty cop. I don't mean the one that beats a crack dealer or shoves a rapist out a window or plugs his head in a field somewhere, I mean the dirty cop that lets a dealer or rapist or some shit go free for a cut. I mean the dirty cops that busted out my parent's shop window when they rejected their generous offer of paying protection money. While there are a few reports of Iraqis turning in terrorists in Iraq (the recent car bomb factory), there were no faces, names, and bodies included in that. That was probably a trap that didn't happen the way they wanted it to (i.e. load the place up with cops and soldiers and set the bombs off)

[/ QUOTE ]
Who are "they"? All muslims? Muslims that are american citizens? Muslims who have died in combat for your freedoms?

[/ QUOTE ]

Muslims who saw, heard, or knew there was going to be an attack. Some have stepped forward, like the guy that got the $25 Mil for turning in Saddam's sons, Bootay and Pussay, but then his relatives were killed by insurgents loyal to Saddam. Someone over there saw that, and could have done/said something.

[ QUOTE ]

Point 3: Someone always thinks these people want to negotiate.
Fact: They don't. They send warnings that something will happen (or they used to), and then it happens. If they wanted to negotiate, they'd ask for a negotiation. They want us dead because our lifestyle is against their beliefs. Our music and movies and freedoms keeps them from being Good Muslims. Once we're all dead, the trees will have to go because they distract them from their studies. Then the birds because their incessant chirping is a distraction. Then the rocks, then the stars in the sky, then their own kin. When there's only one person left alive and no one and nothing to distract them from their religious studies, the loneliness will be too much a distraction, but there won't be anyone to kill or anything to destroy to end it. Then what?

[/ QUOTE ]

Who are "they"? Muslims in the general sense? Does this include American born muslims who have fought and died (and will continue to do so) for our country? Or are you specifically characterizing a RADICAL, EXTREMIST OFFSHOOT of Islam.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I was referring to the terrorists.

[ QUOTE ]

This thread is getting scary. I honestly think that there are lot of people here who feel that "the only good muslim is a dead muslim".

[/ QUOTE ]

On the contrary, the only good Muslim is one who can focus on his religious studies and his own personal spiritual health and salvation and plan for the afterlife regardless of what anyone else is doing. If they (Mulsims in general) can't do that, then they (Muslims in general who can't do that) and their weakness and infidelity are their problem, not whoever's doing whatever, as has been claimed by notable Muslim clerics in the Middle East.

"If thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out"

That means if you see something that causes you to be offended or possibly distracted from your spiritual path, get over it. It's there, but you don't have to participate in it just because it's there.
If Jenna Jameson offers to swallow your balls, you DO have the option of saying "No". If you're too weak to resist temptation, then how is it my fault? Because I buy and sell Jenna Jameson's blowjobs? YOU had a choice, YOU made the coice, but I get the blame?

This seems to be the terrorist's excuse.

While I'm sure not all 100% of Muslims follow this radical belief, just as all Chritians do not follow radical teachings, the fact is that there are people out there who DO follow those beliefs, both claiming to be Muslim and Christian in doing so, and they need to be pointed out by the groups they claim affiliation with.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

The US asked the UN to go and help to spread the efforts, if they decline, oh well, we will do it ourselves AND we will eat the cake with whoever want in.

Intelligence (or lack thereof) was certainly lacking, the US fell into a lull thinking "this will never happen to us". But those things are being remediated as we speak here.

Right now there is a big trial in Florida of a college profesor helping raise money for the PLO and has terrorists ties. And that is just one of many to come.
Things will get better in time, not just in the immediate future.
This is a BIG country and the gears of goverment are slow to react sometimes, but once they enpower the CIA and department of Homeland Defense to do their thing, there will be a lot of people wiped off the planet before they become an assasin.

Stay tuned.

You're using the future as an excuse for the past. We were told this right after 911 too and terrorists attack levels have never been this high. You can keep on repeat it to me, it won't change what is. Terrorism had always been a threat to me, especially in Paris (a lot of attacks in the 80s/90s) and it hasn't changed despite all promises.
The UN didn't decline the help as far as I know. And your president asked for help because the situation was becoming too much, we all know that.

Btw, believe me, you government had A LOT OF REASONS to help us defeat Nazi Germany, don't make this into a holy crusade to save Europe in the name of liberty. America acted to pre-emptively because they realized Stalin was already coming to power. Furthermore a receeding Europe would mean major major major problems for the US (marshallplan anyone?), thank god Molotov walked out or we'd be driving lada's!

And lastly, a continent-wide Nazi empire reaching from the Uk to Japan in the east of siberia would have meant a gigantic superpower opposing the VS, one many times stronger than the old Sovjets and based on an ideology of HATE, RACISM and pure ELITISM, a whole different beast than communism.
