    Garage sale SCORE of a lifetime...

    So I'm checking out furniture at garage sale and somebody tells me that there's a bunch of old music equipment in the basement. I go down there expecting nothing. Sure enough, there are some mic stands, a bunch of old reel to reel recording stuff, a few dusty XLR cords, and....

    ....a brand new(!) Avalon M5 mic pre with power supply and direct box.

        Lucky dog, congrats.
        I always ask for guitars and stuff and never hit anything cool.
        I'll keep hoping to run into an old lady that points me to that 'ol black geetar case and dind a minty '54 Stratocaster.
