I'm not even a regular with the band. I had quit 5 months ago, but they have 2 big gigs coming up on the 23 & 24 Jul, and asked if I would fill in on rhythm, bass and harmonica. I said yes, but now they're holding they're practices over Yankee-Red Sox series, last night and tomorrow night......................not good! [img]/images/graemlins/nono.gif[/img]

I am serious, I did not hear a beep from a suck sox fan before the "trade". All I heard was ohhh boy Ramirez, Ortiz, Damon, etc. & A-Rod!!!!
All giddy and wet. After the league shot it down and he went to the hated Yankees it is ALL sour grapes.

You don't know if you wouldn't have won it without him, you just don't. You did not have Garciaparra anyway and Mueller was not a major factor in the win. Every team he has played for he has been like a fucking tumor. Look at Seattle. The year after he left they won 116 games. The year after he leaves Texas they put a SERIOUS run for the division, and almost won it. After 2 or 3 years of being fucking dismal with him Now hes with the Yanks and and hes having the same effect. You think hes happy about being on 3rd while Jeter takes his position away? all i can say is that i'm closing tonight.

interesting work from chad bradford, but i knew he was gone as soon as he threw ball 2 to his second batter.

and i'm sorry, but you guys would be blowing trot if he were in pinstripes. he didn't wind up on his ass in the crowd, but he coulda made that catch if that fucker would've shown some courtesy and moved back a little, which we see often in plays like that in many stadiums. it wasn't fan interference, but he coulda been a little courteous.

and my god, that home plate umpire had a HORRIBLE idea of what a strike zone was.
