They sucked... blew chunks... doesn't matter how ya phrase it. They were just God awful. Irritating singer, irritating keyboards... everything about them makes my skin crawl. It takes me about .000000001 seconds to change the radio station in my car if they come on. Just another overrated, acid-munchin' group from the 60's. This may have a lot to do with the fact that I thoroughly hate 99.9% of the music from the 60's. [img]/images/graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

I wasn't much of a fan but when I moved to California, well you dig the Doors or you die - or get deported to Oregon! I learned to like 'em there because they are like the official California state band. I actually appreciate Morrison's voice and lyrics more than the band's playing though. They may have been better musicians than him but they weren't knockout players anyway, wheras his lyrics were what the fuss is all about. The backup players could've been anyone, no offense to them.And if Danzig is Morrison reincarnated, he shrank up a lot and forgot how to write!
