Problem with "Mac IBook Display..Need help

My daughter has a, "MAC Ibook G4 laptop". It’s display acts up every once and awhile.
It's only a few months old.
The display would be fine then it gets this off color.
If we manually turn the screen saver on then move the mouse to get back to the desktop it's fine for awhile more.
Any ideas? Here is The Bad screen and Good screen pic.

Yes it is. But before we go I wanted to make sure some settings wern't wrong or something. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
I'm not a "MAC" person so I don't know if this is a issue with them.

sounds like a logic board problem. take it to an apple store for diagnosis, or run the provided apple hardware test suite ;-)
