Allowing long bomb passes will definitely open things up, and there are going to be alot more scoring chances. I don't think the goalie equipment changes will make much of a difference, goalies now a days are tremendous atheletes. Either way, hockey is back and all is right again.

Wednesday, October 5th gentlemens!!! The NHL has released the schedule for the 2005-2006 season.

The home opener will be early this year for Chicago, it's on the 5th vs the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
