Snakes can get into the sewer looking for rats
and then they take the nearest exit. That can be your toilet unfortunately.
I remember several times while living in L.A.
reading such stories on the local news. It was always a neighbor's pet that got out, went down their toilet and came up in another person's apartment. They were always pythons and never hurt anyone, but they were pets and probably not hungry.
Water moccasins though... I HATE those things!
They are MEAN and nasty, very poisonous! And
they have no fear of humans, they'll come right at you ready to bite your ass!
