Ask the owner to get it declawed. It should be done to domestic cats anyway.

Declawing is one of the most inhumane things you can do to a cat. It's the equivalent of amputating your fingers at the last digit. Why exactly is it that domestic cats should be declawed?

Who is so anal they worry about scratches on a car. Its a car. It drives thru snow, rain, mud, dirt, all the elements. Everytime I get a scratch on my Audi, I never even notice. If youre worried about scratches, get an old beater that is prescratched. If youre worried about showing up the neighbors, tell them its a relic custom shop...........

Declawing wouldnt be a much of a solution, it was probably mostly from the back claws scratching the car anyways from the cat jumping off the car etc.

Won't cats go insane if keep them indoors all the time? I'm pretty sure they need to roam around the streets at night picking fights with other cats, and marking their territories.

On a side note; my grandfather, who lives in a country with a lot of stray cats, hates them. He regurarly beats them with shovels, poisons them, kills them etc etc. It's because they like to piss in his garden, dig in his backyard etc.
So when he was visiting we had to keep reminding him not to do that to the cats here. Funny guy [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

And to some of you guys who "can't understand how anyone can do that to a helpless animal":

Some of these posts are idiotic to say the least, kill an animal with anti-freeze, shoot a cat...wtf people?

Go talk to whoever owns the cat. Its quite simple actually and I'm sure you'll feel better about it afterwards. If that does not resolve the issue do as others have said and take a picture, call animal control or whatever. I'm sure if you just talk to the owner it will settle it.

It's BS when people can't go be a man (not saying this applies to you bonghits, just people in general) and talk face to face with people when there are problems. Instead people run and hide, peek through curtains and blinds and do pansy-ass shit behind peoples backs.

Killing a cat over something as trivial as a car's paint job is definitely not the way to go. Maybe try parking it in the garage? Buy a car cover?
The thing is, you never know whose cat you're killing. In this day and age, there's a high probability you'd end up as another "Statistic" on a report on Carbon Monoxide Poisoning when the cat's owner ran their car's exhaust into your home's ventilation system while you were sleeping.
At least that's how I'd do it.
