Here's the supposed Rambo IV treatment:

"Rambo IV: Holy War, as it’s called, sees Stallone’s iconic super-soldier return to the screen as the matured sage; he's married, with an adopted son, influenced by Islamic Sufism, and now working as an environmentalist at the United Nations. When the UN Assembly is hijacked by sadistic Islamist terrorists, Rambo tries to take the terrorists down, knowing that his Afghani-adopted son, Tomask, is part of the terrorist mission."

Wow, I would have been embarrassed to write crap like that when I was 13.

Stallone is supposedly a pretty intelligent guy, and I can't imagine that he needs the money that bad. You'd think maybe he'd go the indie route and try to make good movies or something.

wow, how did Rambo's son get caught up in that? Did John not raise him very well, or is it something that's genetically encoded into any one of Islamic faith, regardless of upbringing?

nice work Tim! And in true "to hell with the original" spirit of modern Hollywood (see Inspector Gadget, Charlie's Angels, Bewitched, etc), the General Lee will have an on-board computer that allows him to speak to Bo & Luke, gun turrets will pop out of the roof & fenders, and the mercenaries will be whoever the current international BGOTMs (Bad Guys Of The Month) are. I don't think the world hates the Germans anymore. Or the Russians. How about airport Hare Krishnas? Let's just make them some generic olive-skinned people of undetermined middle-eastern extraction. As long as they sound like the bad guys on Team America, we're good.

Daisy will stand in the Hazzard town square with an M-16 on each arm....budda..budda..budda..budda....cutting the baddies down in swathes as her sexy arse cheeks wobble out the sides of her cut-offs.

And the President (a retired war hero, of course. Only retired war heroes are capable of properly governing a nation) can fly into town in his monogrammed fighter jet and blow the bad guys to kingdom come. Cos in the movies, even the Prez kicks the bad guys arse.

A terminator movie that won't be starring arnold would be wrong.
The idea of another clerks movie is pretty cool. Though I liked the cartoon much better than the movie.
