Re: \'Bulin Wall\' Comes To Chicago

Khabby rules! (sig avatar). He is excellent tecnically and very quick. Great lateral movement too. He has that special something Hasek has to make unbelieveable saves, but in a more "conventional" butterfly style package. I've always liked Jocelyn Thibault too. Great skills.

I'm getting excited now. Even though I live in Detroit, the Wings will play Chicago enough and I'll to see Khabby play often. What's even better is that Chicago sucks so he'll get peppered in those games and really show his stuff.

As much as I want JR back in Chicago, I think LA is perfect for him and his personality.

Chicago is in pursuit of Kariya right now too but the oilers look to snag him

With all the moves this summer it should at least be a fun season. Colorado won't be the powerhouse team they once were and other teams have picked up some great talent that may not have been available if things had stayed the same.

Take our goaile please.....CuBLO was born with a L on his forehead He did play good for Wings in the playoffs but you have to play great to win a cup. It's all about the goaltending folks, even more so now with the bigger offensive zones and free bomb passes to the cherry pickers, who have always been ridiculed in history of NHL with a red line.

Todd..Just remind the Blackhawk fans that its pronounced Mar-tan LaPointe not Mar-tin I always liked LaPointe too but when you get paid 4 mil you have to put up some numbers. He is a hard worker though and great forechecker.

Re: \'Bulin Wall\' Comes To Chicago

Nik made a dash for the cash, plain and simple...very dissappointed, but not surprised I guess. No offense, but Chicago has no chance of winning the cup this year. Nik can be stellar, for sure, but he, unlike Roy or Brodeur, needs help most of the time. He gets burned 1 on 1 all the time, and is just not the "battler" those guys are.

Aucoin is a good defenseman(offensively), and will help out, but CUllimore is slow as shit, and barnaby is dumb as a rock. Nik will go into his shell, once he gets shelled nite after nite. Just like he did here in years past. He has a VERY fragile ego.

He was awesome in the playoffs last year, but he had a TON of help. Kubina, Boyle, Lukowich, Sydor, etc..

Still would have loved to keep him though..
