Jeez, I haven´t had blisters from playing guitar in years [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

We finished the recording sessions for the CD today, only mixing and mastering left... Then we have to go into the next phase of fund raising for GEMA and Pressing House costs... but then it´ll be over, the CD will be publicly available... We´re hoping on an early 2006 release [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

But I think my fingers and axes have earned a week away from each other [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Well, at least the easy part's over, now the hard part (mixing and mastering) is what's gonna eat you guys alive [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Honestly, say all you (collectively) want against rack units and PODs and stuff like that, but when you can roll straight to tape/disc with the tone you want every time, it makes mixing tons easier [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

LOL, I HAVE a rack, Newc (well, not for much longer, but... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]), and I do all my demos with the recording out of the preamp [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Still sounded 20x better dimed and miced, though.. there´s something about a roaring 4x12 pummeling >120db into a Mic at close range that even the best modelers just can´t nail perfectly [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
