some of you know that i do graphic design work for a friend of mine's tattoo ink company. i've been doing this for about a year and a half now, and it's always neat to see something that you created in a magazine that you can get pretty much anywhere.

well, today i was in barnes and noble, and i saw the newest issue of skin and ink magazine, and i got a little rush when i saw that the most recent ad that i did was on the back cover!

this is something that i enjoy doing (when my friend is finally finished with whatever tweaks he wants done), and hope to make a career out of someday.

so anyway, that's my little good news for the day.

I get the issue a little earlier than the stores and i remember seeing the back cover and saying, "damn, that's cool to have em single use like that". All the time, my boy sullys handiwork is all over the ad and i didn't know it. I SO need a new tat....

be sure to ask about it, as i just glanced through an article in that mag that explained how some of the largest ink manufacturers are being sued by the American Environmental Safety Institute over potentially high levels of toxic metals in tattoo ink. skincandy is all natural, baby.
