Re: A dose of GOOD LUCK!!! UPDATE..

I had another rehearsal/audition with the new band in NJ last night and I was asked to officially join on the way home. I accredit my good fortune to my programming of my GT-6. I spend around a week programming in patches to cover all of the required guitar tones and with some minor tweaking suggested by the band members at rehearsal last night they commented that my guitar tone was KILLER. Yippee....

Hmm... you need to stay at our rehearsals later bro!!
Anyway... it won't interfere with our band at all. They only rehearse on Sunday afternoons in NJ and there are very few gigs. Most of the shows are short record company showcases in NYC. We have a gig this Saturday in Stamford but according to them it is the first local gig they have done in almost 2 years! They are spending more time the last few years shopping out a deal. They just severed their contract with Sony and they now have several other companies interested. Writing is paramount with these guys at the moment. Trust me bro... I dig CHASE. I am not really digging the warm up gig in Meriden but I don't think any of us are! It will be fun anyway. It always is. JG

They are currently negotiating with a few record companies. They just were released from their Sony contract due to creative differences
Hopefully I will bring the band into a new writing direction. Thats the plan anyway...
Regarding touring... nothing but showcases have been mentioned. I also have my band CHASE in Connecticut that keeps me on my toes. Sambencuda is in that band with me and we KILL. Its a metal cover band. I get to play alot of keyboards which is totally cool considering that Jim has no problem handling all the guitar duties when necessary.
