      Tommy Lee's playlist on Apple iTunes. Disturbing. Only music faintly resembling rock is an old Cheap Trick song. Rest is urban / thug / gangsta bullshit that has been forced onto the public. But remember how the media embraced metal in the 80's? New day, different music business demographics - but I don't have to join what's selling so I can pathetically try and remain in the public eye at all costs. Yeah, I can hear his thug rapping influences so clearly in his best Crue work. Lost all credibility when he wanted to be "urban style" with the hair braids, riding off his wife's fame, etc. He's been over with since 1989. What a huge fucking bad joke.         I saw and heard the drum solo in February, and I still think it sucks. I didn't go to a P-Diddy or P-Diddly or whatever his name is next week show, I went to a Crue show. I don't need to hear a "S'up" or "Yo" at a Crue show. I'm not into techno blah blah blah. If I wanted that I would've went clubbing, raving or whatever the fuck it is this generation calls it.

        I have serious issues with sellouts, and genre jumpers who do a total about face for the sake of TRYING to make a buck, and Tommy tops them all in my book! Sad thing is he couldn't have made much after jumping the Crue ship. I'm sure it was so easy to convince him to sign up for this "reunion" tour. There's more money to be made there than his solo stuff will ever produce.

        Someone needs to reel Tommy in and bring back the cage from the Girls tour...

        Now that's a drum solo!

Lee wants to be relevant so bad to the current "young" audience that buys music its laughable. He wants any public attention he can get; ie: attention whore. I had a hard time with George Lynch for his genre experimentation, but would like to think it was a joke. Kinda parody like Beastie Boys or Anthrax with "I'm The Man". But Tommy seems to think he was raised in Compton and is best buddies with the rappers with "names" - so he can benefit from "association". [img]/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] You don't see legends in metal distancing themselves from what their real influences are. I'd rather be myself and seen my better days revenue wise from the music industry - than be something I'm not and lie to myself how cool I think I am. 20 year old wiggers could care less about an ex-metal guy in their early 40's.                       Nikki still looks good. So does Vince. The guys to the left of you look a bit out of place. Especially the poser guy on the far left who used to be one of the great drummers back in the day. But Mick is in his early 50's and has a medical condition affecting his joints. Have compassion for him. The guy to your far left does not resemble the original Crue drummer in the slightest. Let's call him the W Sellout. Notice the "shady" rapper pants and very unmetal look. Did he start uttering things like "shinizzle", "mo fizzle", etc.? Then you should drop him off in the South Bronx or Compton (his choice) and see how long he lasts with his new "influences".
