There was a reported Hyd problem. The mechs, were going to do a check on the HYD system which involves raising the landing gear handle in the cockpit. The 747 has 4 main gears. 2 on the fuselage and 2 on the wing. The story goes, the 2 fuselage gears weren't pinned right. When the gear handle was flipped, the fuselage gear started retracting. With the wing gear forward the center of gravity, the plane sat back on its ass. I don't have access to that area anymore, my friend in the pics gave them to me.
It was done on the midnight shift. I hope who ever pinned it gets shit-canned!!!Comment
