So The Priest is coming to my little town with Anthrax (Anthrax not confirmed yet)...So I just got tikets and I got to thinking...They will probably get a local opener, right? How would one get in contact with the management to try to get on that bill? I feel it in my bones...We got to play this! [img]/images/graemlins/help.gif[/img]

do you have a booking agent? manager? ties to the promoter of the show? do you have access to a booking agent? anytime i've played a local slot on a national bill, it has been through one of those channels.

I'm hoping we have a chance since this is a small town and Priest has been using local band for some of the shows, I think. I'll find a contact somewhere and send them our Bio maybe. It's not till Oct 24th, so if I work on it who knows...No real compitition round here. Believe it or not, this will be the biggest band to have ever played in Vernon.

yeah start there. even if you have a fake manager, have that person get in touch with the promoter and see if they are putting a local act on the bill. if so have your "manager" send your bio and a press pack. include reviews and/or a list of other "big" shows you've played. send a demo and possibly a live video clip. push it a little bit and you may get lucky.
