• Stryper Reborn

I just got this from Amazon tonight. I'm not exactly their target audience (or maybe I am ). In any case, I got to spin the first 4-5 tunes and I think they kicked ass.

Their sound is current. Good guitar work. Good vocals. Etc.

I'll be listening to it in the car for the commute over the next couple days for a closer listen but so far so good.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Re: Stryper Reborn

Sorry, but I have to disagree...
I was a big Stryper fan in the early nineties and this album left me feeling like the first time I listened to Queensryche's Hear in the Now Frontier.
Track 2 "Reborn" is the only track I would listen to more than once and though I do agree his voice is in good shape...the songs and the guitar work seem way uninspired.
If I had paid cash for it and not DL'd it from usenet...I'd be a little frosty...
Too bad because they were good back in the day and he does have a great voice.
Just my 2 cents.
