I guess I'm the only one who doesn't need pills, booze, or smoking to make me better :P
Really though, I had xanax for a long time when I was younger (think school age younger) for panic attacks. I never had a dependancy issue with it, but it's highly addictive.Comment

i went to a doctor's office, told him i was doing "bed karate" at night, he wrote me a script for xanax, the little ones, i used them for sleeping purposes after kicking heroin for the umpteenth time, andthen i just drove to mexico once a month and loaded up on the big 2.0 xanax bars ,with no need for prescription, they're over the counter in mexico which is only an hour and 20 minutes away, if i'm driving 45 minutes, and started taking up to 5 of those big bars a day, started to abuse them just like every other thing in my lig=fe that i liked , drugs, guitars, girls, everything. i have something very important coming up in 8 months so i have ditched everything except for the occaisional fatty because i am gonna be in shape if i am going to be able to spoil any life i bring into this world and give it everything it deserves and needs. and DRIP, addiction is no fun, especially when you're at the bottom. not one drop of fun. it's an allergy, some people are born with addictive personalities and some people are not. but i repeat it is not fun and it doesn't make someone a good or a bad person.Not helping the situation since 1965!Comment

I'm in CONSTANT pain..like you do not believe..
so my choice is either..
A ..be in constant physical / mental pain to the point where eating my gun doesn't sound like such a bad idea..that does not only affect me but the ones I love..
OR
B...Eat a shitload of meds to be more tolerant to myself and others..and gives you relief from PAIN.

all my meds are required and paid in full...free of charge by the state of Ohio...so I guess they feel it's required...and so do I
