      Piggy was one of the thrash guitarists with most personality.He will be missed. RIP brother. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

        I heard he was ill, I didn't realize how serious it was. What a bummer. I am a big Voivod fan. He will be missed.

          Saw those guys atleast 6 times.........Always a great live band.He had those wild shaped guitars and just played the hell out of them. I want to say i saw Soundgarden open for them in 1988.For some reason i am remembering them on the same bill.Mightve been 89.Too bad beause Newsted was breathing new life into that band.RIP

              Dude, I read he went into the hospital and like 5 min later my brother came on the computer and said he passed away. Crazy stuff....RIP brother

                  Yup Soundgarden opened for them. I got my nose broken in the pit at that show. I think Nothing Face came out in 89 so it would have been at least 89 or 90.

                  I don't care much for Jason's playing compared to Blackie, but the new album is a step in the right direction.
