Not The Same Old Song & Dance: Aerosmith Tribute

This post was inspired by worst cover tunes thread. I was thinking how bad Terrible Ted’s cover of Rag Doll was. I decided to give another listen.

Does anybody else have this CD? The list of musicians is amazing.

The most amazing track has to be Dream On w/ Dio, Malmsteen, Stu Hamm, and Gregg Bissonette. All of the covers tunes are great. Ted’s cover isn’t so bad but everything else is just so good.

i got that a couple of years ago, i have to disagree on the dream on cover, though. i couldn't get through the first verse. yngwie's tasteless overplaying and dio's dragon voice kills the song for me.

i don't remember what i liked off of it, but that was definitely not on the list. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Malmsteen can be a hit and miss, Dio sounded great. Anybody else?
